Isn’t it amazing that others sometimes seem to be doing a whole lot compared to the ‘little’ you feel we’re doing? You get dazzled by their accomplishments and this can make you think less of yourself. Maybe what you need to do at such time is ‘shut others’ achievements out of your head and ask yourself few questions:

  • Am I doing the right thing? More like ‘is this what I’m really cut out for? If you’re doing something you’ve got no passion for, your best will never be enough.
  • Am I better at it today than I was yesterday?
  • Am I making an impact?
  • If given a chance to choose just one thing to stick with for the rest of my life, will this (what I’m doing at the moment) be top on my list?

If you can answer yes to the questions above, then you definitely are doing just enough for the moment. All you have to do is keep at it, stay focused, put in more effort, exercise patience, stay committed and dedicated to your cause. Do these and soon enough, you will have no worries whatsoever about your achievements measuring up with that of others.

Truth is, you shouldn’t even compare them in the first place because your cause is way different from theirs.

Hello, I’m Alara Oluwaseyi Karis, a passionate lover of life ( at least that’s what God intended anyway) I love writing, playing the guitar, reading ( really can’t get enough of this). I also love children…..I can’t resist them….. Oops!! I almost forgot to mention, I love fashion ( anything that makes me look cool). I believe that if we would all use our divine gifts and abilities for the advantage of mankind, then this world will be a much better place which is one of the reasons for setting up this blog in order to contribute my own quota to nation building.

Ohh sorry for the misspelling, I’ll do every modification. Thanks for notifying us. Kindest regards.

I’ve had this problem several times! Which is why I was almost nearly booted out of most of my jobs for staying even though I was one of the best worker’s! lol. Time to work for myself!
